Warehouse Manager

Position Summary We are urgently seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager – E-commerce Returns & Fulfillment to oversee the daily operations of our New Jersey warehouse. Our operation primarily focuses on apparel e-commerce returns processing . Returned merchandise is received, scanned, inspected, graded, and processed according to customer/seller guidelines. Resale-eligible merchandise is restocked and returned to inventory for subsequent DTC/order fulfillment. Candidates with experience in E-commerce Returns, Reverse Logistics, Apparel, 3PL, Fulfillment, TikTok Shop, or Amazon warehouse operations are strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Oversee all daily e-commerce returns processing and fulfillment operations . Manage the complete returns workflow, including receiving, unpacking, scanning, inspection, grading, system processing, restocking, and inventory placement . Ensure returned apparel is inspected according to customer/seller guidelines, including product condition, packaging, tags, SKU, quantity, and resale eligibility . Manage repackaging, labeling, system updates, put-away, and restocking of resale-eligible merchandise. Properly segregate, document, and hold non-resellable or exception merchandise according to customer instructions. Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse locations and investigate inventory discrepancies. Oversee DTC / individual order fulfillment , including picking, packing, shipping-label preparation, and outbound processing. Plan staffing and allocate labor based on daily returns and outbound order volume. Develop and enforce SOPs for Return Inspection, Grading, Restocking, Inventory, Pick & Pack, and Outbound Operations . Supervise, train, and manage warehouse employees while monitoring productivity, quality, and safety. Monitor KPIs including returns processing productivity, accuracy, turnaround time, inventory accuracy, and outbound accuracy . Investigate exceptions including damaged merchandise, SKU discrepancies, shortages, and product-condition issues. Maintain warehouse organization, location management, 5S standards, workplace safety, forklifts, and warehouse equipment. Provide regular operational reports covering returns volume, resale eligibility, exceptions, inventory accuracy, fulfillment performance, and labor productivity. Continuously improve warehouse workflows to increase processing speed, accuracy, and labor efficiency . Qualifications Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, or similar warehouse leadership role . Strong hands-on experience managing warehouse employees and daily operations. Knowledge of returns processing, receiving, inventory control, pick & pack, and outbound operations. Experience with WMS or warehouse inventory systems. Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment. Forklift and warehouse safety experience preferred. Experience in Apparel, E-commerce Returns, Reverse Logistics, 3PL, Fulfillment, TikTok Shop, or Amazon operations is strongly preferred .
