Warehouse & Mailroom Assistant
Homesteaders Life CompanyDescription: As a Warehouse & Mailroom Assistant, you will accept incoming forms from printers, stock, maintain inventory counts, and handle mail operations. You will work closely with folder/inserter and mail machines. You will work closely with a team and assist facility manager with any moves. Your responsibilities will include: Receives, opens, and sorts incoming mail, delivers within the company. Maintains document Folder/ Inserter machine, cleans, builds mailing projects. Delivers and picks up inter-office mail. Prepares Certified mail. Accepts printing material, stocks storage area and maintains inventory. Prepares variety of documents, including collating, envelope stuffing, stapling. Lifts, carries, and opens boxes of office and customer supplies. Requirements: Equivalent to high school graduation OR GED. Basic knowledge of office procedures, and office machine operation. 1+ years of general office clerical, mail room and/or supply room experience preferred. Ability to stand for periods of time to run mailing machines.
