Job Summary:
The Warehouse & Logistics Support Coordinator is responsible for executing daily warehouse, shipping, receiving, and logistics support activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical hands-on part in ensuring raw materials and finished goods are accurately received, stored, processed, and shipped according to company standards, customer requirements, and safety regulations. The position combines physical warehouse operations with transactional logistics and administrative duties, including shipment processing, inventory transactions, carrier coordination, and ERP data entry. The coordinator works closely with internal teams such as Production, Sales, and Operations to support on-time deliveries, resolve order exceptions, and maintain accurate inventory and shipping records.
This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow established procedures, and flexibility to respond to changing priorities. The Warehouse & Logistics Support Coordinator is expected to meet productivity, accuracy, and safety expectations while operating material handling equipment and using standard shipping systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Receives, inspects, transports, and stores raw materials and production items.
- Picks, packs, weighs, and prepares finished goods for shipment per customer and company specifications.
- Processes shipments using UPS, FedEx, and carrier systems; prepare labels, bills of lading, packing slips, and customs documentation.
- Coordinates freight pickups with carriers and vendors.
- Verifies shipment accuracy, skid tagging, and carrier placement.
- Maintains accurate inventory records and perform physical counts.
- Enters and maintains data in ERP systems; resolve discrepancies.
- Operates material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Supports order exceptions, expedited shipments, and delivery deviations.
- Tracks freight in-transit and updates internal department regarding delivery status.
- Maintains safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies.
- Assists with administrative tasks including recordkeeping, filing, and intraoffice material transport.
- Provides backup support to logistics team members.
- Assists in providing accurate month end reports to Inland’s Logistics and Finance teams.
- Creates, improves, documents, and sustains processes improvements and serves as an advocate for change. Applies continuous improvement management principles and participates in process analysis and improvement projects.

Essential skills and experience:
- High school diploma or GED required with 3 years of logistics, warehouse, or administrative experience and/or a combination of education and experience is required.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes and environment.
- Computer proficiency; ERP and shipping software experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and comfortable learning new technology and programs. Strong Microsoft Excel skills (ability to write formulas, create graphs / pivot tables, produce reports that allow for easy data interpretation/analysis).

Work Environment:
- Operates in a demanding, fast-paced, people-oriented manufacturing environment with frequent changes and interruptions, and multiple project assignments
- Works with a variety of people including vendors, customers, regulatory agencies, employees, team members, and managers
Required Work Schedule:
- Monday – Friday 9 am – 5:30 pm
- Must be flexible for occasional meetings and responsibilities outside of standard business hours including weekends or holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and material handling; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; 20/40 corrected vision
