Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor — Evening Shift

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor to lead our evening shift operations. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities during the evening shift, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, fostering a positive work environment focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Oversee the operation of equipment such as forklifts and material handling machinery, ensuring proper use and safety compliance. Manage inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software; conduct regular cycle counts and audits to maintain accuracy. Implement process improvements to streamline workflows and reduce waste across distribution center operations. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols; conduct safety training sessions and maintain safety records. Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for shipping & receiving coordination, ensuring timely delivery and dispatch of goods. Utilize RF scanners and other inventory management tools to track shipments, update records, and support inventory accuracy. Maintain clear managerial communication with team members, providing guidance on warehouse procedures and performance expectations. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management within a distribution center environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, inventory control, logistics, and warehouse operations. Hands-on experience operating forklifts and other heavy material handling equipment; certification preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, RF scanners, and Microsoft Office suite for reporting purposes. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through team leadership skills and managerial communication. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to materials handling and warehouse operations. Experience with process improvement methodologies such as lean management or continuous improvement initiatives.
