Warehouse & Logistics Lead Chez Gagné | North Hollywood, CA Full-Time | On-Site $24–$28/hour, depending on experience Immediate opening Chez Gagné is looking for an experienced, hands-on Warehouse & Logistics Lead to own the day-to-day flow of product in and out of our North Hollywood warehouse. This role is a combination of shipping, receiving, logistics, inventory, quality control and a lot of packing boxes . And when we say a lot, we mean it. A huge part of this job is physically packing wholesale and ecommerce orders throughout the day. You need to be fast, efficient, thorough and extremely detail-oriented. If you are naturally good at spatial organization and can somehow make 47 products fit perfectly into a box without wasting space, even better. This job is basically professional Tetris. At the same time, you will coordinate incoming freight, receive and put away inventory, manage LTL shipments, prepare Amazon FBA shipments, help quality-check incoming product, monitor supplies and keep shipping priorities moving across the business. This is not a desk job, and it is not a role where you wait for someone to tell you what to do next. We are looking for someone who notices what needs to happen, figures out the best way to handle it, communicates clearly and gets it done. What You'll Own - Packing & Order Fulfillment This is one of the biggest parts of the job. Pick, pack and ship wholesale, ecommerce and marketplace orders accurately and efficiently Physically pack boxes throughout the day Select the right box size and pack orders efficiently without wasting space or materials Make sure every shipment is complete, accurate and packed to arrive safely Keep a close eye on order details, quantities, SKUs, inserts and special shipping instructions Inspect product while packing and flag damaged, defective or questionable merchandise before it reaches a customer Support large wholesale shipments and high-volume shipping days Process shipments through ShipStation Fulfill orders from Shopify and Faire Help prepare Amazon FBA shipments Assist with product assembly and production projects, including shower steamer builds and other fulfillment needs Move quickly without sacrificing accuracy Pivot between packing, receiving, freight, inventory, quality control and production depending on what needs attention We need someone who can work with both speed and precision . Getting orders out quickly matters, but getting them out correctly matters just as much. Shipping & Logistics Coordinate incoming freight shipments with logistics companies, carriers and our internal operations team Schedule, manage and track LTL pickups and deliveries Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments and proactively flag delays, damages or other issues Prepare, palletize, wrap and stage freight shipments Expedite priority shipments and help determine the best shipping plan when timelines change Maintain strong working relationships with UPS and other carrier representatives Troubleshoot shipping and delivery issues as they arise Help coordinate shipping priorities between our North Hollywood warehouse and our fulfillment team in Irvine Receiving, Inventory & Quality Control Receive incoming LTL freight, pallets and parcel deliveries Operate a forklift to unload and move incoming inventory Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists Check product in accurately and immediately communicate shortages, damage, breakage or discrepancies Assist with quality control inspections of incoming product shipments Inspect products for defects, damage, inconsistencies or other issues before inventory is approved and put away Help conduct detailed QC on fragile or handmade products when needed, including items such as glass-blown ornaments Separate and accurately document damaged, defective or questionable inventory Communicate recurring quality issues or patterns to our operations team Organize and put away approved inventory efficien…
