Warehouse Leadership Trainee

Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste using lean management principles. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners safely and effectively. Maintain accurate inventory records utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control systems. Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols. Participate in team leadership activities, including supervising warehouse staff during shifts and coordinating workflow. Contribute to distribution center operations by supporting logistics planning, shipping & receiving processes, and materials handling. Qualifications Prior experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution, warehouse operations, or logistics is preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate forklift trucks, RF scanners, and other material handling equipment safely. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication skills for managerial interactions and team leadership. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for materials handling. Proven track record of teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving in fast-paced environments. Commitment to safety standards such as OSHA regulations and warehouse safety procedures.
