If you have experience in warehouse, distribution center, or fulfillment operations and are ready to guide others while keeping daily work moving, this role offers an opportunity to lead from the floor. The Warehouse Lead supports and coordinates daily warehouse operations focused on receiving, stocking, pulling inventory, returns processing, general warehouse and shipping product to other Saf-Gard locations, retail partners, and customers. This role helps set priorities, assigns and monitors work, supports training, resolves routine workflow issues, and works alongside the team to meet safety, accuracy, and productivity expectations. This facility operates in a non-temperature-controlled environment. Team members should be prepared to work in varying conditions and dress accordingly. What You'll Do Stocking (InboundWarehouse Operations) Coordinate receiving and unloading of incoming shipments and support loading dock operations Set daily stocking priorities and assign work based on operational needs Work alongside team members to stock product and maintain organized inventory locations Monitor aisle organization, stock replenishment, and inventory accuracy Coach team members on safe, efficient warehouse procedures and address routine workflow issues Pulling (Outbound Internal Distribution) Prioritize and coordinate product pulls, including backorders and Mobile Shoe Store replenishment requests Assign and support high-priority order fulfillment throughout the company Oversee preparation of outbound shipments Verify labels, staging, and order accuracy for outbound shipments using the warehouse management system Help maintain a safe, organized work area and reinforce company procedures and expectations General Warehouse Receive returned safety footwear from customers Inspect, verify and process returned products through our system Clean and re-box footwear according to quality standards Process return to vendor inventory Lead physical inventory cycle counts Troubleshoot and resolve system errors Order supplies as needed What We're Looking For Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, material handling, or inventory operations; lead or supervisory experience preferred Ability to coordinate daily workflow, set priorities, delegate tasks, and follow through on completion Strong communication skills and the ability to train, coach, and support team members Working knowledge of order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and inventory control Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, inventory accuracy, and quality control Comfortable working in a fast-paced, non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment Willingness to learn and use warehouse systems and processes; WMS experience is a plus Reliable, team-oriented, and able to make sound day-to-day decisions with limited supervision Strong problem solving skills and proactive approach to leadership and task management Willing and able to travel to other Saf-Gard locations as needed for training and operational coverage Preferred Qualifications Previous experience leading, training, or serving as a go-to resource for warehouse team members Experience with order picking, pick-pack-ship processes, loading dock operations, and inbound or outbound logistics Experience with cycle counts, stock replenishment, and inventory control systems Experience identifying workflow issues and helping improve warehouse processes Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Experience with Dynamics a plus Schedule Full-time positi…
