am while assigning tasks, monitoring productivity, supporting shipping activities, and acting as a backup to the Warehouse Manager.
Key Responsibilities
• Pick, pack, prepare orders, and safely load trucks.
• Coordinate and support daily shipping and warehouse activities.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Support production activities including packing, labeling, machine operation, light assembly, and finishing.
• Perform quality checks and document QC results.
• Monitor production workflow and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor team productivity, quality, and attendance.
• Provide hands-on coaching and support to team members.
• Report daily progress, production issues, and operational concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
• Act as backup to the Warehouse Manager when required.
• Assist with team meetings, safety drills, attendance tracking, and new-hire training.
• Ensure warehouse and production areas remain clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and housekeeping standards.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of warehouse, manufacturing, shipping, or production experience.
• Previous lead hand, team lead, or supervisory experience is an asset.
• Hands-on experience in multiple warehouse or production functions.
• Valid forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Health & Safety Supervisory Training is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic math skills for order accuracy and inventory.
• Intermediate computer skills are an asset.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and work effectively with a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
