Warehouse Lead Night Shift

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Lead for the Night Shift to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities Lead and supervise warehouse activities during the night shift, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling operations. Coordinate daily tasks with team members, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems such as AS400 to track stock levels, process orders, and update records accurately. Operate and oversee the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to facilitate safe movement of goods. Implement process improvement initiatives using lean management principles to optimize warehouse efficiency and reduce waste. Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy. Communicate effectively with team members and management through managerial communication skills to ensure clarity on goals, safety procedures, and operational updates. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution, logistics, or distribution center operations with a strong background in warehouse management systems. Demonstrated leadership skills with previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or in team management roles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes. Ability to operate heavy lifting equipment such as forklifts safely; certification preferred. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to materials handling and warehouse operations. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and process execution. Excellent communication skills for managing teams effectively and coordinating across departments. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shift hours.
