GOFO: https://gofo.com/ About the Role: As a Warehouse Lead in the transportation and warehousing industry, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods within the warehouse. Your primary objective will be to maintain accurate inventory levels and facilitate smooth logistics operations by handling materials safely and effectively. You will collaborate closely with logistics coordinators, drivers, and other warehouse staff to meet daily operational targets and deadlines. This role demands attention to detail, physical stamina, and adherence to safety protocols to minimize errors and workplace incidents. Ultimately, your work will contribute to the overall supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment. Basic proficiency with warehouse management systems or inventory software. Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts (certification preferred). Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications: Fluent in both English and Spanish (required) to communicate with bilingual teams and management Strong understanding of warehouse SOPs, inventory flow, and team supervision Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Familiarity with WMS or inventory tracking systems is a plus Responsibilities: Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, sorting, staging, and dispatch Manage and train warehouse associates to ensure high performance, safety, and compliance Monitor KPIs such as fulfillment accuracy, on-time dispatch, and productivity Assist with setting up warehouse layout, process design, and equipment configuration Coordinate with HQ teams and cross-functional departments to ensure smooth flow of goods and information Implement safety protocols and lead regular safety checks and compliance reviews Troubleshoot operational issues and provide real-time solutions Maintain clear and organized operational records and reports Skills: The required skills such as operating warehouse equipment and using inventory management software are essential for daily tasks like moving goods and maintaining accurate stock records. Physical stamina and attention to detail ensure that materials are handled safely and orders are fulfilled correctly, minimizing errors and damage. Communication skills are important for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly to supervisors.
