Warehouse Lead – Construction Trade Supply (Mouldings, Doors & Windows)

Advantage Moulding is a premier specialty construction supplier with 5 locations across Southern California. We provide high-quality mouldings, doors, and windows to professional tradespeople. We are seeking a dependable, energetic, detail-oriented Warehouse Lead for our established San Diego branch. This is an active, hands-on position ideal for someone with warehouse and forklift experience who takes pride in keeping materials organized, orders accurate, and daily warehouse operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Order Fulfillment: Accurately pull, inspect, and stage customer orders for pickup and delivery, ensuring materials are complete and ready on time. Shipping & Receiving: Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and product condition, and properly unload, organize, and store materials. Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, and unload mouldings, doors, windows, and other building materials. Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse, ensuring materials are properly stored and easily accessible. Inventory Accuracy: Assist with inventory counts, identify damaged materials, and report shortages or discrepancies to the Store Lead. Deliveries: Make local customer and jobsite deliveries as needed, ensuring materials are handled safely and delivered accurately. Team Coordination: Work closely with the Store Lead and delivery drivers to ensure customer orders are prepared, loaded, and fulfilled efficiently. Requirements Experience: Previous warehouse experience required. Experience in lumber, doors, windows, mouldings, flooring, or building materials is strongly preferred. Forklift: Previous forklift operating experience strongly preferred. Driving: Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required. Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and remain physically active throughout the workday. Organization: Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately handle multiple orders and tasks. Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Skills: Basic computer skills and ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
