Position Summary The Warehouse Lead is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership and direction to warehouse associates while supporting the Warehouse Manager/Site Manager in maintaining safe, efficient, and accurate warehouse operations. This position serves as the primary working lead on the warehouse floor, ensuring daily priorities are communicated, work is completed accurately and on time, inventory and product movement are properly controlled, and warehouse standards are consistently maintained. The Warehouse Lead is expected to lead by example, support employee development, identify operational issues, and communicate concerns and recommendations to warehouse management. Key Responsibilities Lead daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, staging, shipping, will-call, transfers, and returns. Assign daily tasks and priorities to warehouse associates based on workload and business needs. Monitor workflow and ensure assigned work is completed accurately and timely. Train and coach warehouse associates on established procedures, systems, safety practices, and expectations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories. Ensure receiving, inventory, transfers, returns, and RMA transactions are accurately completed in WASP. Identify inventory discrepancies and operational issues and communicate them to management. Verify product is properly staged and prepared for scheduled deliveries and customer pickups. Support delivery coordination by providing accurate product and readiness information. Enforce established safety procedures and immediately address unsafe practices. Assist with forklift and warehouse equipment operations in accordance with company requirements. Serve as the first point of contact for routine operational questions from warehouse associates. Communicate employee performance, attendance, safety, or conduct concerns to the Warehouse Manager. Provide recommendations to management regarding workflow, staffing, training, inventory accuracy, and process improvements. Assist with maintaining warehouse SOPs and ensuring associates follow established processes. Provide operational coverage and leadership when the Warehouse Manager is unavailable. Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned. Leadership Expectations The Warehouse Lead is expected to: Lead by example. Hold associates accountable to established expectations. Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Experience: Warehouse management: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Forklift Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
