Position Overview The Warehouse Lead guides daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipment of finished goods and parts. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for operational efficiency, inventory integrity, safety compliance, and timely fulfillment of customer orders. This position operates in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment and requires comfort working in typical Houston heat and cold conditions. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control · Oversee receiving, storage, and shipment of finished goods and parts · Ensure accurate system and physical inventory movements · Conduct and supervise cycle counts and physical inventories · Maintain inventory integrity and prevent loss or damage · Safeguard finished goods and parts through proper handling and storage Logistics & Shipping · Coordinate and schedule outbound shipments · Select appropriate transportation options · Ensure all shipments have proper documentation · Collaborate with sales to forecast and prioritize weekly shipments Warehouse Efficiency & Systems · Design and maintain an efficient warehouse layout · Identify workflow improvements to increase operational efficiency · Ensure all system entries match physical inventory movements Equipment & Safety · Operate and oversee safe use of forklifts · Schedule maintenance for warehouse equipment · Enforce safety standards and best practices · Order and manage packing materials Leadership & Collaboration · Supervise warehouse personnel · Maintain a productive and positive work environment · Coordinate with accounts receivable, sales, and administration Required Skills 3+ years warehouse leadership or supervisory experience 1 year college or associate/tade course Experience managing inventory systems Forklift operation experience Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices Ability to work in non-climate-controlled warehouse conditions Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills Experience optimizing warehouse layout and workflow Experience forecasting shipping volumes Bilingual Spanish/English Compensation for this position depending on leadership experience, knowledge of inventory systems, and operational expertise. Final title and compensation may be adjusted based on qualifications, supervisory experience, and overall fit for the role.
