This position acts as a bridge between warehouse associates and supervisors, providing direction, support, and hands-on assistance to ensure productivity and accuracy in all warehouse activities. WAREHOUSE LEAD - DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate and monitor the activities of warehouse associates to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Assist in training new employees and provide ongoing guidance to team members. Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company policies. Oversee inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and shipping of goods. Identify and resolve workflow or process issues to improve efficiency. Communicate effectively with management and other departments regarding operational needs and updates. Perform regular quality checks and assist with cycle counts or inventory audits as required. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager. WAREHOUSE LEAD - QUALIFICATIONS: One to two years of related experience in a warehouse environment Prior experience with material handling equipment such as sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and stock pickers Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods Experience using handheld RF scan guns and basic computer skills Positive and professional attitude with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Commitment to excellence and high standards with good oral communication skills and strong attention to detail Preferred a valid driver's license Ability to pass company background screening, motor vehicle report and drug testing requirements Work environment: Ability to be on feet for the entire shift with constant lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling, etc. for 8+ hours at a time. Lift and move at least 75 pounds without assistance, up to 130 pounds with help Pick, pack, and stack 100-1000 boxes daily Engage in climbing, sitting, lifting, walking, stooping, bending, overhead lifting, and stair climbing Operate and climb into forklifts Ability to safely climb up and down stairs or steps to enter and exit industrial equipment and or trucks Stand for extended periods Safety footwear, such as steel toe or composite toe, is mandatory Most work occurs in a warehouse with varying temperatures and moderate to high noise levels Dock doors remain open, causing temperature fluctuations Some areas may become dusty if products are stationary At Brame, we are committed to fostering a dynamic and collaborative work environment through the EOS Management System.
