Warehouse Lead Job Summary The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient material handling, and leading a team of warehouse staff. This role involves coordinating activities to maintain smooth workflow, operating material handling equipment safely, and providing leadership to foster a productive and organized work environment. The Warehouse Lead plays a vital role in maintaining safety standards, optimizing inventory management, and supporting overall warehouse efficiency. Responsibilities Lead and supervise warehouse team members to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping processes Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely and effectively Coordinate workflow to meet operational goals and deadlines Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for all staff Assist in inventory management activities, including stock counts and organization Train new team members on warehouse procedures and safety standards Communicate effectively with other departments to support logistical needs Monitor team performance and provide feedback to promote continuous improvement Skills Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes Experience operating material handling equipment safely and efficiently Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills for clear coordination with team members and other departments Knowledge of safety regulations related to warehouse environments Problem-solving skills to address operational challenges promptly This position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals passionate about logistics, team leadership, and operational excellence within a dynamic warehouse setting.
