Warehouse Lead

Job Position Title: Warehouse Lead Type: Full Time Hourly Pay: $ 25/hr Description: The Harvest Productions Warehouse Lead is an entry level task oriented position, working at Harvest’s warehouse location. Warehouse technicians report directly to the Warehouse Manager, but are also to assist Production Managers and full time Harvest employees at Harvest’s management’s discretion. Warehouse technician’s tasks are divided into general warehouse upkeep, maintenance and projects, shipping and receiving, inventory processing (receiving, checking, putting away, prepping and repairing), “Out the Door Rentals” (OTDs) and trucking. Job Tasks Organize/Plan each day Work closely with Warehouse Operations lead to determine daily priorities, often 1-3 days in advance, keeping a calendar so you're on top of everything going on Answer door when the doorbell rings, open doors as needed, help guests find the places and parties that they are visiting Receiving - Answer door for deliveries, and follow the receiving process Check-in all items received each day in Jetbuilt or other programs required. Shipping Ship customer orders, subrental orders and anything else that needs to be shipped (via FedEx, UPS, USPS, LTL or dedicated shipment) Keep floors clean and trash cans emptied (especially food content) Make improvements each week to the overall order, cleanliness, and labeling Maintain Exterior of the Building Remove trash/debris Keep lawns mowed and trimmed Maintain clear sidewalks and driveways during winter Help with building exterior maintenance as needed Drive forklift (we train) and load/unload pallets as needed Perform pickups/deliveries as needed with company vehicle, CDL Class B license preferred Help list items online for used equipment sales in ebay/reverb etc. Maintain order of truck straps Assist keeping company vehicles and lifts maintained and clean ◦ arrange service and oil changes ◦ keep glovebox items current ◦ sweep out truck boxes ◦ clean interiors as needed ◦ powerwash exterior of vehicles ◦ lift inspections and maintenance Help with Inventory of all items Harness Inspections Keep propane in stock Assist preparing rentals Assist returning rentals Put things away in their places Help create organization and places where everything is to be stored/warehoused When HMX Live crew needs help loading or unloading trucks, assist them Maintain HMX Live equipment as time allows Be able to lift 75 pound items regularly Other duties as assigned by AVS, HMX or IUP Qualifications · Basic computer skills, word, excel, outlook, shipping software, gear software · Class B CDL, have or obtain within 180 days of hire date. Harvest provides training. · Audio visual and live event experience/ industry knowledge is a bonus.
