Job Summary: the Warehouse Lead assists the supervisor in leading the warehouse area by coordinating the team’s day-to-day activities to ensure our production department gets all the stock needed and that our customers get their orders on time, while creating and maintaining a positive and safe work environment. Pay: $22/hour regular time & $33/hour overtime Supervisory Responsibilities: Warehouse Technicians Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-5:30pm, 10-hour shift, overtime varies based on business needs Duties/Responsibilities: Complete tasks as assigned and resolve day-to-day problems Ensure the team meets productivity and efficiency targets Conduct accuracy/quality audits by verifying product quantity/quality Train and cross-train new employees in various job functions Assist with daily meetings Data entry Enforce safety regulations Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Safe working habits Technical capacity Results Driven Thoroughness and attention to detail Collaboration Proficient communication Previous forklift certification and the ability to obtain a new one Preferred Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED Leadership experience in a warehouse setting Experience using scanners, inventory control administration, and SAP/WMS Physical Requirements: Very Heavy work: Lifting and carrying for a short distance up to 50 pounds constantly on your own & up to 100 pounds via team lift frequently. Standing: To remain on one’s feet in an upright position without moving about. Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another Stooping: Bending the body forward and down while bending the spine at the waist 45 degrees or more either over something below waist level or down towards an object on or near the ground Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels.
