Warehouse Lead

Realturf Austin is hiring a Warehouse Lead to help open and run our new Austin location. About Us Realturf is a multi-location artificial turf supplier and distributor with locations in Texas, Florida and Nevada. We supply installers, landscapers, contractors, commercial and sports projects, and homeowners with premium turf and installation materials. We are opening our new Austin location in early 2027 and are hiring the team that will open it. The Role You will keep the Austin warehouse running: what comes in, what is in stock, what gets cut, and what goes out. As the first warehouse hire in Austin, you own the floor and set the standard as the team grows. Receiving and inventory - Load and unload trucks and containers; inspect inbound product and report any damage or shortage before it is accepted. - Record every receipt in our inventory system with roll and lot numbers (training provided). - Rotate inventory by product and dye lot (FIFO); run regular cycle counts. - Keep sample shelves stocked and the warehouse clean, organized and safe. Cutting and order prep - Prepare orders, full rolls and custom cuts using the turf cutting machine (training provided). - Tag and photograph every cut and record it against the order. - Stage orders tagged and ready for pickup or delivery. Shipping - Load trucks safely and confirm the piece count on the bill of lading. - Photograph the loaded truck and paperwork before it leaves. - Help with local deliveries when needed. Equipment - Operate and care for the forklift, cutting machine, pallet jack and racks safely. - Keep cutting supplies stocked: tape, stretch wrap, cores, tags. What We're Looking For - 2+ years in a warehouse, ideally as a lead; turf, flooring or roll-goods experience a plus. - Forklift experience required. - Able to lift 50+ lbs and stay active on your feet all day. - Valid driver's license and clean driving record. - Comfortable with basic math and a computer or tablet; dependable and safety-minded. - Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Schedule - Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM; some after-hours work when needed. Training and Benefits - Paid training at our Houston location before the Austin opening (start date TBD). You learn the role, our products and our systems alongside an experienced team, then move to Austin with the location launch. - $55,000 per year. - Paid time off, plus health, vision and dental insurance. - Room to grow: this is the founding team of a new location.
