Warehouse Lead

Overview Complete Quality is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Lead to provide contract-based overseeing daily operations within our warehouse environment. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity the ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management processes. This role requires an individual who can effectively manage inventory, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and drive process improvements to enhance overall efficiency. Compensation: Approx. $900-$1100| Paid weekly via 1099 Availalbe Shifts: Front Half Days: Sun - Wed 6AM to 6 PM Front Half Nights: Wed- Sat 6PM to 6AM Back Half Days: Sun - Wed 6PM to 6AM Back Half Nights Sun - Wed 6PM to 6AM Duties Oversee and coordinate warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Implement and maintain effective inventory control measures to ensure accuracy and availability of stock. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage logistics operations efficiently. Lead a team of warehouse associates, providing training, guidance, and support to foster a productive work environment. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies to maintain a safe workplace. Oversee the operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment while ensuring proper maintenance and safety protocols are followed. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes related to e-commerce fulfillment and third-party logistics (3PL). Conduct regular audits of inventory and warehouse processes to identify areas for improvement. Oversee heavy lifting tasks as needed while ensuring that all team members are trained in proper materials handling techniques. Experience Proven experience in warehouse management or as a warehouse supervisor is essential. Strong background in inventory management, logistics, shipping & receiving, and process improvement methodologies. Familiarity with AS400 systems or similar warehouse management software is preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and maintenance is advantageous. Previous experience in e-commerce environments is a plus. Ability to lead teams effectively while promoting a culture of safety and efficiency within the warehouse setting.
