Warehouse Lead

Job Summary: Responsible for receiving, sorting, storing, taking inventory, keeping records and organizing for the shipping of merchandise examined or stored in the warehouse. Employees will also be responsible for operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in daily warehouse and shipping areas including: Filling and shipping customer orders. Ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation. Receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate area or personnel. Ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged. Receiving quality control Checking that the materials coming in house are correct per the manifest and without defects. Supervise personnel in department to effectively motivate, delegate and monitor activities, performance and safety Provide on going floor support and troubleshoot issues throughout the day Establish and maintain effective relationships with associates, peers and managers Prepare and maintain a variety of records and prepare reports as required. Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment and requesting repairs when they are necessary. Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, floors, and work stations neat and clean.
