Warehouse Lead - 1st Shift

Location Address: 4239 N 39th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85019 Work Shift: 8hr-1st Shift (United States of America) Shift: 1st Shift (10 hr. workdays) Pay Rate: $24.00/hr Altium Packaging is one of the largest plastic container companies and suppliers of rigid plastic packaging. We specialize in customized mid- and short-run packaging solutions and serve a diverse customer base in the pharmaceutical, dairy, household chemicals, food/nutraceuticals, industrial/specialty chemicals, water, and beverage/juice segments. We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead in Phoenix, AZ. As a Lead, you will be responsible for various warehouse operations including, but not limited to, unloading trucks, storing materials, forklift operation, inventory, and ensuring safety compliance. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Ensure warehouse is organized and safe Unload trucks and store raw materials in designated areas Drive forklift and load trucks with finished products in accordance with customer specifications Transfer and store finished products to the warehouse Repack damaged containers and keep storage area in proper order Work closely with customer service and customers to ensure ample supply of raw materials and timely deliveries Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconcile with data storage system Inspect incoming materials and report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping Enter shipping and receiving data into JD Edwards (JDE) Inventory system to create Bill of Lading Ensure that documentation is complete and accurate in preparation of shipments Record details into the appropriate business systems for tracking and record-keeping Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling and shipping requirements REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma, or equivalent Basic mathematical skills are required. 2 years’ experience as a Warehouse Lead/Supervisor Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Experience with ERP system Experience with JD Edwards Ability to work overtime BENEFITS: Competitive Hourly Rate Medical, Dental & Vision Holiday/Vacation Pay 401K with Company Contribution Tuition Reimbursement Learning & Training Opportunities Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
