Warehouse Lead

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES : Strong knowledge of warehouse management, food safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and warehouse equipment. Leadership and problem -solving abilities. Self driven abilities and possesses self-discipline skills. Knowledgeable about Warehouse Management Systems, RF devices, warehouse inventory controls and Excellent skills to handle product in rack systems, preferable experienced in dynamic rack systems Excellent skills to operate sit-down and stand-up reach fork lift. Must be able to make decisions and work well with others Must be able to concentrate and perform accurately Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Leads and assigns activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing and shipping of materials or products. Achieves high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods. Assign workload based on scheduled shipping and receiving appointments. Oversee staff in charge of warehouse operations, as well as coordinate and verify compliance with their assigned tasks. Unloads materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places Locates and moves stock of products for storage or shipment Identifies damages and reports shortages or quality deficiencies Checks loads are secure by using proper lock loads inside the truck Inspects machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance Meets the requirements of HACCP, BRC, and FSMA.
