Full Job Description Job Title: Warehouse Lead Pay Rate: $21.00 Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor Position Summary Step into a critical leadership role as a Warehouse Lead, where precision, accountability, and operational excellence are the core of everything you do. You will oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring seamless inbound and outbound operations, strict inventory control, and unwavering adherence to safety and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership -Oversee a team of warehouse workers, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure efficient operations. -Provide training and guidance to staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Inventory Management - Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock count and minimizing discrepancies. - Coordinate the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods, utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) to maintain data integrity. Operational Coordination -Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure timely order fulfillment and effective communication. - Implement and optimize processes to enhance productivity and accuracy within the warehouse. Safety & Compliance -Enforce safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Performance Monitoring -Analyze operational metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. -Report on performance metrics to leadership and suggest improvements to drive overall operational excellence. Qualifications Experience: Typically requires 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics management, with a proven track record in a leadership role. Skills: Strong understanding of inventory management systems, excellent organization skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus. Work Environment -Fast-paced warehouse setting with physical demands, including lifting and moving heavy items. -Exposure to varying temperatures. -8-12 hours shifts depending on the operational demand.
