Vineland Estates Winery has a current vacancy for a Warehouse Labourer (contract) to cover a parental leave for approximately 10 months. Must be available Monday to Friday. Wage will be commensurate with experience. This will be a full time role at 40 hours per week starting mid-December, but part time training hours of approximately 24 hours per week are available immediately. Your impact: Accurate order preparation helps colleagues keep shipments moving and customers receive the right goods. Job Summary The Warehouse Labourer - Contract supports daily warehouse distribution by moving, picking, and preparing goods for shipment. This hands-on role involves heavy lifting, operating material-handling equipment, and helping maintain accurate, organized workflows. Responsibilities Pick/package orders checking items and quantities for accuracy. Use warehouse/office systems to communicate with main office and drivers Load and unload deliveries, support shipping and receiving, and move materials safely throughout the warehouse. Operate forklift and hand trucks following site procedures. Assist with equipment checks and routine warehouse tasks, applying your knowledge and experience to identify issues and report them promptly. Skills Warehouse experience preferred Forklift license or willingness to take training required Microsoft and SAGE experience and/or other inventory software knowledge an asset Experience verifying and processing packing slips and preparing for distribution Ability to lift and move objects weighing 40 to 70 lbs using safe material-handling procedures required Required physical capability to stand, walk, bend and twist on concrete floors for 8hrs Please send resume and cover letter Unless otherwise noted, this posting is to fill a specific current vacancy.
