Warehouse Laborer

Overview Precision Powder Coating is looking for a reliable, hardworking General Laborer to join our team. This position is a hands-on role in a busy powder coating facility and will involve a combination of shop labor, shipping/receiving, & material handling. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, safety-minded, and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities to keep the shop operating efficiently. Duties/ Responsibilities: Load and unload customer parts, materials, and equipment. Move and stage parts throughout the facility. Prepare, package, and secure finished parts for customer pickup or shipment. Assist with shipping and receiving. Perform local customer pickups and deliveries as needed. Safely load, secure, and transport materials and finished products. Assist with inventory, receiving, and basic inspection of incoming and outgoing parts. Use basic hand tools and equipment as required. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist other departments and employees with general shop duties as needed. Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required PPE. Work safely around powder coating equipment, ovens, dust, noise, and other industrial conditions. Communicate professionally with customers and vendors when making pickups and deliveries. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements - Work Environment: This is a physical, hands-on industrial position . The ability to perform the following is required: Lift and carry 50+ pounds . Stand and walk for extended periods. Bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and work on your feet throughout the day. Work indoors and outdoors as required. Work in a hot industrial environment, particularly around powder coating ovens. Work around dust, industrial noise, and powder coating equipment. Wear required personal protective equipment. Follow company procedures regarding hydration, heat exposure, and reporting heat-related symptoms. Qualifications: Previous warehouse, manufacturing, construction, powder coating, shipping/receiving, or delivery experience is preferred but not required . Previous experience driving a company vehicle or making local deliveries is a plus. Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic. Must be able to follow directions and work independently when necessary. Must be comfortable performing a variety of physical tasks. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Must be willing to help wherever needed to keep the operation running efficiently. Schedule & Compensation Full-Time or Part-Time (afternoon preferred) Approximately 20-40 hours per week Overtime required when needed $18.00+ per hour , depending on experience Benefits available Overtime paid in accordance with applicable California law Bonus opportunities may be available Additional Requirements: Employment is contingent upon completion of any required employment, background, and driving-record checks.
