Warehouse & Inventory Supervisor Location: Indianapolis, IN Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Warehouse & Inventory Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving activities. This position will lead warehouse employees, maintain inventory accuracy, coordinate the movement of materials, and ensure products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong warehouse operations, inventory control, and ERP/WMS experience who can identify discrepancies, improve processes, and keep daily operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, and support warehouse employees while ensuring daily operational goals are met. Oversee warehouse, inventory, shipping, and receiving activities. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure physical inventory aligns with the inventory management system. Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and process necessary inventory adjustments. Coordinate the receipt, storage, movement, and timely shipment of products and materials. Communicate shortages, damaged materials, and inventory issues to appropriate departments. Manage cycle counts and assist with quarterly physical inventory and reconciliation. Monitor inventory for expired or obsolete materials and communicate findings to management. Ensure employees follow established inventory control, safety, and warehouse procedures. Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and overall processes. Qualifications Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred. 3-4+ years of warehouse operations, warehouse supervision, or inventory management experience preferred. Experience with inventory control, cycle counts, shipping/receiving, and physical inventory. Experience using an ERP, WMS, or inventory control system. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and general computer systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Previous experience supervising or training warehouse employees. Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Physical & Work Environment This position works in a warehouse/manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled . Employees may be required to stand or walk for extended periods, bend, reach, stoop, or kneel, and lift or move up to 40 pounds . Compensation & Benefits Salary: $60,000-$75,000 annually, based on experience.
