About the Role
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be instrumental in processing returned merchandise by identifying, sorting, scanning, and organizing products for their next destination. You will utilize warehouse technology and established procedures to ensure that operations remain accurate and efficient.
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Available Shift Times
• First Shift / Day Shift
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities
• Receive packages/products from inbound containers for scanning
• Utilize a barcode scanner and computer to identify items and follow processing instructions
• Perform visual checks and record information as directed
• Sort items into the correct labeled bins/pallets for transportation
• Adhere to procedures for unreadable labels, unidentified items, and other exceptions
• Maintain organization of products, labels, and containers to avoid mix-ups
• Communicate needs regarding low supply levels or assistance requirements
• Aim to meet productivity and accuracy goals while following safe handling protocols
• Keep your workstation clean and ensure walkways are clear
• Follow safety procedures and promptly report damaged equipment or spills
• Assist teammates and contribute to related warehouse tasks as assigned
Key Requirements
• Experience: 6+ months in a warehouse, production, retail stockroom, or similar environment preferred
• Comfortable using a computer and learning barcode-scanning processes
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow a repeatable process
• Consistent attendance and effective communication
• Ability to stay organized and maintain a steady pace in a repetitive setting
• Capability to handle items up to 40 lbs (with assistance if necessary)
• Willingness to stand/walk for the majority of the shift, performing reaching, bending, and repetitive tasks
