Warehouse Inventory Specialist

Reports To: The Warehouse / Inventory Specialist will report to General Manager, Store Manager. Schedule : Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm Location : Kearny Mesa - 7475 Clairemont Mesa Blvd, San Diego CA 92111 Job Overview: George’s Camera is looking for an extremely organized, detail oriented, efficient problem solver. The Warehouse / Inventory Specialist will meet high levels of accuracy and utilize excellent time management skills ensuring a smooth product lifecycle between our warehouse and sales floor. Warehouse / Inventory Responsibilities Accept, receive, and verify incoming orders Ensure packages are in good condition Keep and organize documentation such as purchase orders, packing slips, RMA, and damage reports Create and affix warehouse labels Organize and stock merchandise Ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of work environment Must be able to lift / carry up to 50lbs Communicate errors to relevant parties Marking and labeling stock Keep vault clean and organized Comfortable driving company van for deliveries throughout San Diego Properly pack and ship out repairs Organize orders for pick-up and delivery Keep up with Van maintenance and cleaning Drop off cardboard at recycling plant Organizing stock transfer and ensuring proper stock balance between locations Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors and personnel for a smooth workflow Monitor and report loss inventory to management Complying with the company’s policies and vision Using the warehouse space to achieve peak efficiency Safeguards warehouse operations by complying with extensive security procedures and protocols Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security Take charge of stock control and warehouse organization Regularly update the data storage system Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc).
