Warehouse Inventory Specialist

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Delivery / Warehouse / Inventory / Building & Grounds / Fleet & Logistics Specialist to join our team. Duties Safely operate various vehicles including box trucks and <PERSON> drivers for local deliveries and route driving assignments, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, manual lifting techniques, and other equipment, adhering to safety protocols. Manage inventory levels through accurate stock counting, recording, and reporting to maintain optimal supply levels. Conduct routine maintenance checks on fleet vehicles, building systems, grounds, and warehouse equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Assist with building maintenance tasks such as, repairs, and cleanliness to uphold a professional environment. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by communicating effectively with staff and addressing their needs professionally. Coordinate with warehouse staff for efficient storage solutions, inventory organization, and space utilization. Support logistics planning by optimizing routes for deliveries and ensuring compliance with transportation regulations. Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics is highly preferred. Valid commercial driver&rsquo;s license with experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles; CDL preferred but not mandantory, need to be eligible. Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route planning and navigation tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely; familiarity with forklift operation and pallet jacks. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is desirable. Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving, loading/unloading cargo, and equipment handling. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
