ElevonHRNOW HIRING: Warehouse Inventory Control Clerk I Location: Tempe Milk Plant, 2432 E Pecan Road, Phoenix, AZ 85040 Job Type: Contractual Pay Rate: $25/hour Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30/4:00 PM Contract Duration: 4 months, with possible extension Work Arrangement: Onsite Additional Requirements: Must be available for occasional weekend work and overtime. ✅About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Control Clerk I to manage maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) inventory at a manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will ensure maintenance technicians have the parts, materials, and supplies needed to support safe and efficient plant operations. ✅Key Responsibilities - Receive, inspect, identify, and stock maintenance parts and supplies. - Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems, CMMS, or SAP. - Conduct routine cycle counts and annual physical inventories. - Monitor stock levels and reorder points to prevent shortages. - Track inventory usage and recommend stock adjustments. - Keep the storeroom clean, organized, secure, and compliant with safety standards. - Identify and remove obsolete, damaged, or excess inventory. - Maintain records of inventory transactions, receipts, and purchase orders. - Prepare inventory and spending reports as requested. - Support inventory cost tracking, audits, and compliance requirements. - Help improve storeroom procedures and inventory control processes. ✅Requirements - High school diploma or GED. - At least 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, maintenance storeroom management, or industrial purchasing. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. - Strong organizational, record-keeping, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. - Knowledge of purchasing and inventory control principles. - Basic understanding of maintenance and manufacturing equipment. - Ability to read vendor catalogs, equipment manuals, and parts breakdowns. - Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. - Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, temperature changes, and moving equipment. ✅Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in food manufacturing, dairy processing, or industrial manufacturing. - Experience with SAP, PMC 2000, Maximo, CMMS, or similar inventory systems. - Knowledge of industrial maintenance parts, including bearings, motors, gearboxes, belts, chains, valves, sensors, and hydraulic or pneumatic components. - Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification. - Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
