Warehouse & Inventory Associate

We are looking for a reliable and organized Warehouse & Inventory Associate to join our Distribution Centre team.

This is a hands-on warehouse position where you will receive, move, organize, and prepare stock, maintain accurate inventory, and use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to keep materials moving safely and efficiently.

Previous warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, or forklift experience is an asset. Don't have current forklift certification? Candidates with the ability to obtain certification are still encouraged to apply.

Position Details

Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Department: Distribution Centre
Shift: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Starting Wage: $17.51/hour
Location: St. James Industrial Area, Winnipeg, MB (near Route 90)

What You'll Do

As a Warehouse & Inventory Associate, your responsibilities will include:

  • Receive, move, organize, and store stock throughout the warehouse.
  • Safely use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Pick and organize stock for internal and external customers.
  • Load stock onto shelves and restack materials onto skids as required.
  • Ensure skids are properly secured, identified, and stored in the correct location.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for quality and report any damage or discrepancies.
  • Perform inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Help identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate order and stock information.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
  • Follow all company safety, security, and warehouse procedures.
  • Work independently and with other team members to keep materials moving efficiently.
  • Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as required.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma, Grade 12 G.E.D., or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, inventory, or a similar environment is considered an asset.
  • Previous experience using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is an asset.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
  • Knowledge of warehouse quality and safety practices is an asset.
