Warehouse Inventory Associate

Basic Purpose Ensures inventory accuracy, timely material availability, and compliance with company storage and inventory control procedures. Additional responsibilities for receiving and storing materials, supplying production with needed materials, and assisting with ensuring an organized, accurate, and efficient warehouse operation. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Maintain accurate inventory of packaging, ingredients, and dry goods. 2. Perform cycle counts and assist with Period end physical inventory. 3. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly. 4. Monitor inventory levels and communicate potential shortages. 5. Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips. 6. Inspect materials for damage or quality concerns. 7. Properly label and store materials in designated warehouse locations. 8. Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and inventory rotation procedures. 9. Pick and stage materials for production according to schedules. 10. Ensure production departments receive the correct materials on time. 11. Accurately record inventory transactions in the systems. 12. Scan delivery documents to procurement and attach to PO’s in D365 13. Maintain clean, organized, and ensure safe storage areas. 14. Keep aisles, racks, and staging areas free of clutter. 15. Ensure materials are stored in designated locations and easily identifiable. 16. Operate forklifts, high lifts, pallet jacks or other powered industrial equipment safetly 17. Perform other duties as assigned 18. Ensure and participate in compliance measures to meet GMP, HACCP, SQF and federal standards related to food safety and quality guidelines. 19. Perform other related responsibilities, as needed, to support business objectives. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Ø Ability to read and write English to understand packing slips and purchase orders. Ø Valid PIT license or ability to obtain Ø Strong accuracy and attention to detail Ø .Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Suite Ø Ability to use technology such as Microsoft Office, inventory/Warehouse management software etc. Ø Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
