Warehouse Inventory Assistant

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to support our field and office teams with accurate inventory, organized storage, and timely material handling. Position Summary: The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, organizing, and distributing equipment and supplies. This role is critical in ensuring technicians are equipped with the right parts and tools to perform their work efficiently and safely. Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments Label and organize materials, parts, and tools accurately Pull and stage job materials for upcoming scheduled work Maintain accurate inventory records, assist with cycle counts and audits Process, distribute, and reconcile purchase orders (POs) Order parts and materials as needed for field and office needs Maintain tools, equipment, and fleet vehicles—including basic service tracking, cleaning, and repairs Track technician tool check-ins/check-outs and replacements Oversee shop cleanliness and organization, including routine cleaning schedules Perform property maintenance tasks as needed (e.g., minor repairs, trash removal, yard upkeep) Support warehouse deliveries, pick-ups, and errand runs as directed Communicate regularly with dispatch, service managers, and office staff All other duties as assigned Qualifications: Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods Basic computer skills; experience with ServiceTitan is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented Forklift experience or certification preferred Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Primarily warehouse-based, with occasional work outdoors or on job sites as needed. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and moving/carrying materials and tools. Regularly required to work in small, confined spaces such as crawl spaces, attics, storage, or mechanical rooms. Must be comfortable working at heights, including on ladders and rooftops. May encounter dust, debris, insulation, and other materials typical of residential and commercial job sites. Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions depending on the job location. May occasionally assist technicians with parts or equipment delivery on job sites.
