Warehouse Inbound Supervisor
ConfidentialWe are looking for a hands-on, proactive Warehouse Inbound & Returns Supervisor to lead our morning-shift team. In this role, you won't just oversee standard receiving; you will also manage our high-volume returns processing operations. You will lead a dedicated team of 15 to 17 associates across both departments, ensuring we meet our commitments to top active lifestyle brands. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment, love building up a team, and have a sharp eye for process improvements, we want to hear from you. What You Will Do: Lead the Floor: Directly supervise 5–7 receiving associates and roughly 10 returns processing team members. Manage Inbound Flows: Ensure all incoming shipments are unloaded, checked, and put away in racking quickly according to our strict deadlines. Oversee Returns & Repackaging : Direct the team sorting through customer returns. Decide what is damaged and what can be safely repackaged for future customer orders. Plan Labor: Review upcoming shipment loads and coordinate with internal client service teams to ensure you have the right headcount scheduled daily. Train & Coach: Build a multi-skilled team through continuous on-the-floor training, performance feedback, and cross-training. Keep It Safe: Drive a culture of safety across your assigned zone, identifying hazards and ensuring your team follows warehouse safety compliance. What You Bring: Experience: 3+ years of experience leading a logistics team, specifically within receiving, inbound, or returns processing. Tech Literacy: Strong experience working daily with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Microsoft Outlook. Physical Ability: Able to stand and walk on the concrete floor for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and climb warehouse ladders or stairs. Communication: Strong verbal communication skills. Being bilingual in Spanish and English is a massive plus, but not required. Education: A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus. Why apply? Double Exposure Leadership: This isn’t a one-dimensional receiving role. You get to dual-manage standard inbound freight and e-commerce returns, significantly building your operational resume. Real Career Growth: The local footprint is expanding fast. A brand-new facility is opening locally in Q1, meaning plenty of room for upward mobility and future leadership paths as operations grow. Work-Life Balance Culture: Unlike third-party logistics (3PL) providers that force mandatory 70-hour weeks for months at a time, this company values labor management. Peak season operations are carefully managed to prevent leadership burnout. Premium Clients : You get to work directly with high-demand products from major companies in the active lifestyle space.
