ConfidentialJob Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Helper to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading shipments using equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, and pallet jacks while adhering to safety protocols. Support inventory management by accurately stocking, picking, packing, and organizing products within the warehouse. Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move goods throughout the facility. Conduct regular inventory counts and update inventory management software to maintain accurate stock levels. Prepare orders for shipment by picking items with RF scanners or order pickers, ensuring correct quantities and packaging standards are met. Follow safety regulations including OSHA guidelines and PPE use during all warehouse activities. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse operations, improve workflow efficiency, and ensure compliance with safety procedures. Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, crane systems, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks. Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, and load & unload procedures. Familiarity with inventory control systems and software such as AS400 or similar warehouse management systems. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately. Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards and proper PPE use. Technical proficiency in operating RF scanners, inventory management software, and other material handling equipment.
