Job Summary: The Warehouse Generalist is responsible for pick and put-away verifying information and ensuring accuracy. This role is also responsible for scanning and packaging customer order and for coordinating goods to reach the appropriate department to fulfill customer order requests and closing out orders in WMS.
Duties and Responsibilities - Packer
- Compare order sheets with tote numbers
- Scan and pack finished products from totes into appropriate bags or boxes for shipment or storage
- Weigh bags and boxes
- Generate shipping labels and place onto boxes
- Removal of empty totes
- Cleaning of workstation and surrounding area
- Cycle counts and picking as required
- Other duties as assigned
Duties and Responsibilities – Carousel Operator
- Picking orders from the carousel and checking items against bar codes, putting into totes
- Receiving and putting away products into totes or other containers
- Other duties as assigned
Duties and Responsibilities – Merge Operator
- Close orders in the Warehouse Management System
- Moves embroidery totes to designated area
- Move incomplete totes to designated area or location
- Pair totes together when coming from multiple pick zones
- Group orders that need to be consolidated
- Hot pick items from carousel when missing from orders
- Take away empty totes
- Other duties as assigned
Experience and Education
- Completion of High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- General warehouse knowledge
- Knowledge of WMS systems
- Knowledge of hand scanners
- Communication, ability to speak clearly in English
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (Pump Trucks)
- Attention to Detail and accuracy for data entry.
- Ability to do basic mathematic operations
- Ability to work as a team and independently with minimal supervision
- Problem Solving
- Time management, ability to perform multiple tasks to deliver simultaneously
- Ability to follow safety regulations
Working Conditions, Physical Effort and Environment
- Ability to lift 35lbs
- Ability to stand for 8 hours
- Bending
- Pulling skids with pump truck
