lities of Warehouse General Manager:
You will oversee warehouse operations, lead teams, improve processes, manage financial performance, and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring efficient and compliant operations.
• Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipment activities with accuracy and efficiency.
• Create and implement strategies to improve warehouse processes, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
• Lead, coach, and motivate Operations Managers and staff while building a strong team culture and supporting professional development.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements, company policies, and operational standards to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workplace.
• Use warehouse management systems (WMS), automation, and technology to monitor inventory, track KPIs, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective services and supplies while maintaining commercial agreements.
• Analyze warehouse performance, inventory levels, and key operational metrics to support business decisions.
• Maintain customer relationships through proactive communication and operational support.
• Manage site profit and loss (P&L) while influencing business results through operational and customer management.
• Prepare and present Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) to customers, highlighting performance results and team collaboration.
Required Skills and Experience of Warehouse General Manager:
• 5+ years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of experience in supply chain, warehousing, or distribution operations.
• Experience in Third-Party Logistics (3PL) and/or contract logistics preferred.
• Proven experience managing and developing teams.
• Experience with P&L management preferred.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
Compensation and Benefits of Warehouse General Manager:
• Salary range: $105,000 - $135,000 based on experience and qualifications.
