Warehouse Fulfillment Operator Independent Contractor (1099) Engagement Overview A fast-growing company in the fragrance industry is seeking experienced independent contractors to provide warehouse fulfillment services supporting order processing, inventory handling, shipping preparation, and related fulfillment operations. This opportunity is well suited for individuals with previous warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment experience who are detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of providing services accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The Warehouse Fulfillment Operator will support the movement of customer orders from inventory through shipment, with an emphasis on order accuracy, organization, inventory handling, and timely fulfillment. Scope of Services Services may include: Pulling and preparing customer orders for fulfillment. Accurately picking products based on order information. Verifying products, quantities, and order details prior to packing. Packing customer orders securely and in accordance with applicable packaging requirements. Preparing completed orders for shipment. Generating and applying shipping labels and preparing packages for designated carriers. Sorting and staging completed orders for carrier pickup. Receiving and inspecting incoming inventory for quantity, accuracy, condition, and damage. Organizing and replenishing inventory and fulfillment materials. Supporting inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory-system updates. Organizing products and materials to support efficient storage, accessibility, and order fulfillment. Identifying and communicating inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or order discrepancies. Using applicable scanners, fulfillment systems, shipping platforms, or other warehouse technology to support order processing. Handling products, materials, and customer orders with care and attention to accuracy. Maintaining clean and orderly fulfillment areas while providing contracted services. Completing accepted fulfillment services accurately and efficiently. Service Availability Services are performed on-site at the designated company facility. Fulfillment operations are generally available Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Service Location Norcross, Georgia Contractors must have reliable transportation and the ability to provide services at the designated service location. Required Qualifications At least 2 years of relevant warehouse fulfillment, e-commerce fulfillment, distribution, or order-processing experience. Hands-on experience with picking, packing, order verification, and shipping preparation. Experience processing customer orders in a warehouse or fulfillment environment. Experience handling and organizing inventory, including stocking, replenishment, and cycle counts. Ability to accurately match products, quantities, and order information to fulfillment documentation or system records. Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to order accuracy and quality. Ability to work efficiently with high order volumes while maintaining accuracy. Familiarity with warehouse technology such as barcode scanners, handheld devices, inventory systems, or order-management systems. Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse activities for extended periods. Ability to provide services in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse fulfillment environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a high-volume e-commerce fulfillment or distribution environment. Experience with warehouse-management, inventory-management, or order-management systems. Experience with shipping platforms and carrier-label preparation. Familiarity with major shipping carriers and package-preparation requirements. Experience using barcode scanners or handheld warehouse devices.
