AimRX 3PL, a subsidiary of AdvaGen Pharma and Rubicon Research, is seeking a full-time forklist operator for our East Brunswick warehouse location The Warehouse Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of powered industrial trucks within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical warehouse environment. This role ensures the accurate movement, storage, and handling of pharmaceutical raw materials, finished goods, and controlled substances in full compliance with FDA regulations, cGMP standards, DEA requirements (where applicable), and company SOPs. The Forklift Operator plays a critical role in maintaining product integrity, chain of custody, and warehouse organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Forklift Operations Operate sit-down, stand-up, reach, and/or order picker forklifts safely in warehouse and cold storage areas. Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections (OSHA-compliant) and document findings. Transport pallets of pharmaceutical products between receiving, storage, and shipping areas. Stage outbound shipments accurately per pick lists, BOLs, and shipping manifests. Operate in temperature-controlled environments including refrigerated (2°C–8°C) and frozen (≤-20°C) storage zones as required. Inventory & Receiving Receive and verify inbound shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Apply quarantine, approved, or rejected status labels per SOP. Assist in cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and FIFO/FEFO stock rotation. Accurately scan or enter data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Identify and segregate damaged, expired, or recalled product and notify the supervisor immediately. GMP & Regulatory Compliance Adhere strictly to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Maintain chain of custody documentation for all controlled substances and high-value products. Participate in deviation reporting and contribute to CAPA investigations as needed. Comply with DEA security requirements in Schedule II–V storage areas (as applicable). Maintain cleanliness and organization of all warehouse zones per GMP housekeeping standards. Safety & Environmental Health Follow all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety policies at all times. Wear required PPE including safety shoes, high-visibility vest, and gloves. Report all near-misses, accidents, and unsafe conditions promptly. Participate in safety training, toolbox talks, and emergency drills. Maintain pedestrian safety protocols in all traffic zones. QUALIFICATIONS Required High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum 2 years of verifiable forklift operating experience in a warehouse setting. Valid forklift certification (OSHA-compliant) — company certification provided/updated upon hire. Ability to read, write, and follow written SOPs, work orders, and labels in English. Basic computer proficiency for WMS data entry and electronic documentation. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in temperature-controlled environments. Preferred 1+ year of experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or FDA-regulated warehouse. Familiarity with cGMP regulations (21 CFR Parts 210/211) and GDP guidelines. Experience with SAP, Oracle WMS, or comparable enterprise WMS platforms. Knowledge of cold chain handling procedures for temperature-sensitive products. Experience handling DEA-scheduled controlled substances. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, and twisting throughout shift. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted. Extended periods of seated forklift operation. Visual acuity for reading labels, barcodes, and WMS screens. Ability to work extended shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
