Warehouse Forklift Operator

A manufacturing facility in Portersville is currently seeking dedicated forklift operators to join their team. These are full-time roles offering a choice between a 7am to 7pm day shift or a 7pm to 7am night shift. Compensation is set at $18.00 per hour for days and $20.00 per hour for nights, with clear opportunities for professional development and career progression. Your daily duties will include handling warehouse logistics like loading and unloading goods, keeping inventory records precise, and upholding a tidy, hazard-free workspace. Employees must provide their own steel-toed footwear. The company will supply all additional personal protective equipment, including hearing protection and safety eyewear. Core Duties Utilize forklifts and related machinery with a focus on productivity and safety. Support the team by loading and unloading freight to ensure inventory accuracy. Arrange and house items in their assigned warehouse locations. Conduct routine inventory audits to identify and document any variances. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team. Adhere to all established safety guidelines and operational policies. Work alongside colleagues to help the facility reach its daily production targets. Track equipment performance and notify management of any necessary repairs. Required Skills and Experience Previous experience operating a forklift is mandatory. Background in order picking is considered an asset. Ability to perform repetitive lifting of items weighing 25 to 50 pounds. Requirement to wear steel-toed boots while on duty. Completion of a drug screening and background check is necessary prior to starting.
