Overview: POSITION SUMMARY: Direct and manage to coordinate the shipping, receiving and inventory by utilizing knowledge of equipment, procedures and specifications all in accordance with: plans, specifications, tolerances, industry standards and codes; correctly and efficiently. Work with or supervise other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision. Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Responsible for cleanliness and organization of our warehouse Responsible for in and out inspections for all equipment leaving our warehouse Assist manager with inventory management at our facility Responsible for inventory of all tools, materials and equipment coming into and leaving the warehouse facility Interpret specifications and work orders Requisition, obtain and distribute supplies and materials Assist with resolving problems with Warehouse Management Read, prepare, collect and maintain reports Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols May be responsible to fulfill each project’s requests for tooling and rigging prior to mobilization and support multiple simultaneous active project’s tolling and rigging needs Coordinator with Facility/Warehouse Manager to setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security Manage inventory and reconcile with data storage system Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided Coordinator equipment necessary to offload, move and transport tools, materials, equipment, shipping containers and other associated items around the yard and to/from the project sites, yard and original equipment manufacturers Maintain and repair small engines Track calibration requirements and associated documentation for tooling Ship and receive tooling via UPS/FedEx and LTL carriers May be responsible to inspect rigging SUPERVISORY: Assist Human Resources and Superintendent by interviewing, hiring, training, appraising work performance and addressing complaints of employees in the field Directly supervise and coordinate daily activities of craft workers Complete ESRs for all employees with a change in job status (transfer, laid off, terminated) Conduct regular performance reviews of crewmen Manage up to six or more employees and Lead men Conduct regular performance reviews Train and mentor new workers Manage, lead direct reports, and mentor Qualifications: EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience Plus 2 years of supervisory experience (prefe…
