Warehouse Floor Manager/ Operations Manager

Overview We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Warehouse Floor Manager to oversee daily operations, coordinate order fulfillment, manage shipping logistics, and ensure timely, accurate processing of customer orders. This role acts as a key link among warehouse management, order processing, customer service, production, and finance to maintain efficient workflow and high customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, and can manage competing priorities, resolve operational issues, and identify opportunities to enhance warehouse processes and productivity. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations & Order Fulfillment Oversee and monitor daily picking ticket activity, including printing, tracking, and ensuring orders are fulfilled in a timely manner. Identify unfulfilled or delayed picking tickets and coordinate appropriate resolutions, including inventory adjustments, work orders, and other operational corrections. Enter and manage work orders for kit items to support production and order fulfillment requirements. Monitor warehouse workflow and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. Provide operational troubleshooting and recommend process improvements to address recurring issues. Shipping & Logistics Management Coordinate domestic, international, and third-party shipments, including Mediquip orders and other specialized shipping requirements. Prepare and review international shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, customs paperwork, and other required documents. Obtain and review shipping quotes for larger, freight, and international orders. Coordinate shipping requirements with internal teams to ensure accurate shipping charges and timely order processing. Review and approve freight invoices in coordination with the Finance department to validate shipping charges. Manage shipping-related issues, including UPS and FedEx claims, delivery exceptions, address corrections, and international shipment documentation. Monitor shipment tracking and coordinate replacement shipments when necessary. Customer Service & Order Resolution Serve as a primary point of contact for warehouse-related customer inquiries involving order fulfillment, production timelines, shipping delays, missing items, and estimated delivery dates. Communicate with customers and internal departments to resolve order discrepancies and fulfillment issues. Review inventory availability and coordinate solutions for missing or incomplete shipments. Prepare credit memos and create new sales orders for replacement items as needed. Generate replacement shipping labels and monitor tracking to ensure successful delivery. Maintain professional and timely communication with customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders. Order Management & Systems Process and monitor credit memos, replacement sales orders, and other order-related transactions. Update BV Commerce by manually marking web orders as shipped or completed in the website's backend. Process international Remedy orders, including preparation of commercial invoices and required shipping documentation. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to picking tickets, work orders, shipping activity, inventory adjustments, and customer order resolutions. Inventory Management Conduct inventory cycle counts, stock checks, and periodic inventory audits to maintain accurate inventory records. Investigate inventory discrepancies and verify stock availability when addressing missing or incomplete customer orders. Coordinate inventory adjustments and communicate shortages or fulfillment concerns to the appropriate departments.
