Warehouse Flame-Retardant Applicator

PRODUCTION/WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE JOB DESCRIPTION Must Be Over 21 Years of Age Must Have Clean Driving Record As Driving to On-Site Jobs is a Requirement This is a very hands-on, labor-intensive position. Seeking a hardworking, full time individual that is reliable, self-motivating, communicates well, follows directions, is a team player, multi-tasker and who is interested in learning and growing with a 27 year old business. Company pays medical, dental, vacations, and holidays. Compensation based on experience. This position has growth and promotional ability. Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To The Following: Accurately treating materials with flame-retardant, non-toxic, non-hazardous water-based product to fabric, wood, and other materials. · Some overnight travel is required, all expenses paid. Current average times per month would be approximately 2-3 · Hand rolling of fabrics that weigh upwards of 40 lbs. · Operation of hand drills, hand tools, and ability to accurately measure lengths and liquids · Assist in quality control · Inventory experience a plus · Packaging, shipping, and receiving · Filling of containers · Basic Warehouse Duties, including maintenance schedule of company vehicles and keeping all workspace, machines, and vehicles clean and organized · Ability to use paint type sprayer and rolling of fabric on to bolts · Adhere to production scheduled and time-lines Basic Qualifications: · On-Site Jobs and Overnight Stays Required · Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. · Must be able to work on your feet most of the day · Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English · Must have the legal right to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship now or in the future for employment work visa status · Must be able to retain information easily and follow instructions · Must have access to work occasional overtime · Must be a Self-Starter, Self Motivated, and Extremely Reliable · Background Check will be preformed · Fork-lift Certified desirable · Must not be afraid of heights · Must be able to work in extreme California weather conditions where appropriate shade and water are supplied by the employer · Experienced in handling and operating a Paint Sprayer a plus · At times, emergency services are requested. That requires overtime and working off hours. We do work with everyone’s schedule but please be mindful we need flexibility in these cases Typical start time: 7:30AM Typical end time: 4:00PM Work Remotely No Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Work Location: In person
