Warehouse Equipment Technician

Job Description Surpass Industrial, LLC is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to support equipment maintenance, technical activities, and warehouse operations at our Houston facility. This hands-on position combines technical work involving industrial equipment, mechanical systems, and electrical components with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse responsibilities. The selected candidate will assist with equipment assembly, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs while developing the skills necessary to take on greater technical responsibilities. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, is comfortable working with tools and technology, and demonstrates a genuine interest in developing technical skills. We are looking for a motivated individual who can learn quickly, follow instructions, take initiative, and grow professionally with the company. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with the assembly, inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment. Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues. Perform electrical wiring, component installation, and replacement following technical instructions and safety procedures. Clean, inspect, and maintain machinery, mechanical parts, electrical components, and accessories. Operate dry ice blasting equipment for cleaning and maintenance applications. Develop technical knowledge of equipment systems, operating procedures, and maintenance requirements. Prepare, package, palletize, and secure equipment and materials for domestic and international shipments. Receive, inspect, unload, and organize incoming shipments. Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, and move freight. Perform general warehouse and facility maintenance, cleaning, and organizational tasks. Support other warehouse, operational, and technical activities as required. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Ability to safely lift and carry up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical or vocational training is a plus. Experience Previous experience in equipment maintenance, mechanical assembly, electrical work, warehouse operations, or a related hands-on environment preferred.
