Warehouse driver/ Helper

Job Overview We are a HVAC company that is growing and we are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Driver/Helper to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment, including box trucks and pallet jacks, to transport goods within the warehouse and assist with various distribution tasks. Your proactive approach will ensure efficient order fulfillment, accurate inventory management, and adherence to safety protocols. Postition overview: Available to work weekends driving the shop truck box truck( non cdl and non class b) Towing a trailer Inventory helper Help prep the jobs for the next day. ​ Keep a clean warehouse Duties Safely operate warehouse equipment such as delivery box truck, pallet jacks, unload, load and move materials. Assist with inventory control by conducting stock counts, updating inventory management software, and ensuring accurate record-keeping using phone scanner and warehouse management systems (WMS) Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing packages, verifying jobs with order picker tools, and ensuring proper labeling and documentation Load and unload trucks efficiently while following safety regulations and OSHA standards for heavy lifting and manual handling Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by stocking shelves, managing materials handling equipment, and adhering to safety protocols including PPE use Collaborate with warehouse supervisors on inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment, order fulfillment, and cycle counts and truck counts. Follow all safety procedures during warehouse operations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines Qualifications Proven experience operating warehouse equipment, with atleast 2 years of inventory and driving experience. Strong understanding of warehouse procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual material movement efficiently Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and documentation accuracy Knowledge of safety regulations related to warehouse operations including OSHA standards Prior experience in warehouse management or logistics roles is advantageous Technical proficiency with inventory services.
