Overview:
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Driver is responsible in the vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of warehouse logistics. They are responsible for transporting furniture, appliances, electronics, and other items safely and timely between the warehouse and specified locations. Operating various types of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and 26-foot trucks, is a key aspect of the role.
Additionally, Warehouse Drivers assist in loading and unloading shipments, verifying inventory, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries and pickups. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a focus on safety are essential qualities for success in this position. Excellent communication skills are also crucial for coordinating with warehouse staff, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless operations.
