Brew Crew Opportunity

Our Global Brew Crew is seeking a Driver, responsible for operating a company vehicle to complete scheduled pickups and deliveries between the distribution facility, Home Office, and other designated locations. When not driving, supports warehouse operations by assisting with tasks such as cleaning, loading, and unloading materials, and general material handling. Works independently for extended periods while maintaining regular communication with supervisors for direction and updates. Ensures all assigned tasks are completed each shift with a strong focus on productivity, quality, safety, and organization. Accurately completes required logs, documentation, and other duties as assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities

The Driver is responsible for safely operating the company’s delivery vehicle and is trained in forklift operation and general warehouse procedures. Completing scheduled deliveries and pickups. Transporting mail and other inter-office materials between locations.

Material Handling:

Driver supports warehouse operations by assisting with material handling and other departmental needs.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Inventory rotation
  • Loading and unloading shipments
  • Labelling materials
  • Organizing products by assisting with moving pallets of raw materials, finished goods, and other production items using equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, or hand trucks, while maintaining efficiency, safety, and organization within the warehouse.

Forklift Operation:

  • Operates a forklift to move pallets and heavy loads safely and efficiently.

Documentation:

  • Maintained accurate documentation related to deliveries and pickups. Primary paperwork includes bills of lading and other delivery or pickup documents.
  • Required to complete logs and forms to ensure accurate recordkeeping and operational tracking.

Common documents associated with this role include:

  • Pallet Load Sheets
  • Receiving Logs
  • Load-Out Logs Transfer Documentation
  • Count sheets
  • Additional records as required

Cleaning and Maintenance:

  • Completed assigned cleaning and maintenance duties in accordance with established work instructions and the Master Cleaning Schedule.
  • Includes maintaining cleanliness and organization of the vehicle, warehouse areas, and equipment as required to support safe and efficient operations.

Additional Duties Include:

  • Inspecting inbound and outbound carriers to verify transportation security and prevent potential contamination, while documenting inspection results as required.
  • Driver also assists with maintaining cleanliness of the yard and warehouse areas according to the Master Cleaning Schedule and helps ensure proper storage, integrity, and segregation of raw materials within warehouse inventory.

Food Safety:

  •  Driver supports food safety standards by following established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintaining proper hygiene, wearing gloves when handling products or product-contact surfaces, and following procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Driver also supports the company’s integrated pest management program by keeping doors closed when not in use and promptly reporting any pest activity observed in the work area.

Health & Safety:

  • Ensuring work practices comply with company safety policies and occupational health and safety standards contribute to a safe and secure work environment.
  • Report any Identify potential safety hazards to mitigate risks and promote workplace safety.

Your Ingredients

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, production environment, food, and beverage is a plus or similar fast-paced, process-driven environment
  • Valid California driver’s license with a clean DMV record; “B” license required for operating airbrake trucks.
  • Defensive driving or safety driving certification preferred.
  • Forklift or material handling certification preferred.
  • Ability to constantly balances safety, efficiency, and time-sensitive operations, making decisions both in advance (planning) and on the spot (reacting to unexpected events). The ability to anticipate problems and adapt quickly is crucial to maintaining smooth warehouse and delivery operations.
  • Excellent Communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external clients.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced cross-functional team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized in handling delivery documentation and schedules.
  • Proficient in computer programs, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience working with conveyors, packaging machinery, and roasting or production equipment is a plus.
