Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and dependable Warehouse/Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities Receiving & Material Handling Load, unload, inspect, and verify all inbound and outbound shipments using forklifts and other material handling equipment. Receive incoming freight and accurately place products in designated warehouse locations. Inspect shipments for shortages, damages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly. Assist other departments with freight handling and warehouse support as operational needs require. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations. Order Fulfillment & Shipping Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders, work orders, and transfer orders accurately and efficiently. Stage shop work orders in advance to support production and service schedules. Palletize, package, and label orders for shipment or customer pickup. Pull and process will-call orders promptly to ensure timely customer service. Verify order accuracy before shipment or delivery. Delivery Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers, vendors, and company locations. Load and secure materials for transport to prevent damage during delivery. Obtain delivery confirmations, signatures, and required documentation. Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns immediately. Inventory Control & Warehouse Organization Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits as assigned. Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies. Ensure products are stored in their proper bin locations and warehouse areas. Organize shelves, racks, and storage locations to maximize efficiency and safety. Properly store overstock materials in designated locations. Warehouse Maintenance & Safety Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Sweep floors, remove trash, and keep indoor and outdoor work areas clean. Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and OSHA requirements. Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and warehouse improvement initiatives. Immediately report accidents, injuries, unsafe conditions, or equipment issues. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or delivery experience preferred. Forklift certification or ability to become certified. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and delivery vehicles. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills and inventory management experience preferred. Physical Requirements Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds; occasional lifting of heavier materials with assistance. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and climb throughout the workday. Ability to work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures and weather conditions. Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and company vehicles. Work Environment This position operates in both warehouse and outdoor environments and may be exposed to varying weather conditions, moving mechanical equipment, and moderate noise levels.
