Warehouse Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role involves supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, forklift license is a plus.. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety, efficiency, and accuracy. The job will be Tuesday and Thursday 8-5. You will be the main person on our cube van, doing deliveries for 2 stores. Must have valid drivers license and a clean drivers abstract. There is a second person on the van with you. When delivering to a person home must be extremely careful that there is no damage done in there home, to the merchandise or to yourself. Must be able to make judgement call while in the person home as to whether the item be deliver without damage. Duties Load and unload shipments using forklifts Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, and order pickers, safely and efficiently Perform heavy lifting tasks Maintain organized storage areas and ensure proper labeling of products Support warehouse distribution activities by preparing items for shipment or storage Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all operations To deliver merchandise into residental homes without causing damage to their property. Skills Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of warehouse distribution practices and logistics coordination Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory accuracy Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, walking, lifting, and moving heavy loads This Warehouse Associate position is vital for ensuring smooth warehouse operations through efficient handling of goods, equipment operation, and inventory management.
