You’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service while maintaining safety and compliance standards across all tasks. Responsibilities Operate commercial box trucks and cargo vans to deliver products to customers, job sites, and distribution locations in a safe and timely manner. Load and unload freight using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securement and safe handling of all goods. Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and promptly report any maintenance concerns. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, inventory records, and vehicle maintenance reports. Follow established delivery routes and schedules while adhering to all traffic laws, DOT regulations and company safety standards. Support warehouse operations including: Inventory management and stock organization Operating forklifts to move pallets and materials Preparing shipments for dispatch Receiving and verifying incoming freight Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery times, delays, and special instructions. Ensure compliance with all company safety policies related to commercial vehicle operation and warehouse procedures. Experience Proven experience operating box trucks and/or cargo vans in a delivery or route driver role. Hands-on warehouse experience, including loading and unloading freight, inventory control, and order fulfillment. Certified or experienced in forklift operation preferred. Demonstrated punctuality, reliability, and strong route management skills. Basic knowledge of commercial vehicle mechanical systems with the ability to identify and report issues. Strong communication skills for coordinating deliveries and maintaining safety standards. Valid driver’s license appropriate for vehicle type (CDL not required unless specified) with a clean driving record. Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
